The United States Geological Survey serves to study America’s landscape. The organization recently renamed its science center to the USGS Florence Bascom Geoscience Center. The goal for this video was to educate their audience about Florence Bascom, and her incredible influence in the study of geology. To highlight Flo B’s importance, we created bold graphics out of limited archival materials. These graphics used pops of color and playful aesthetics to intrigue viewers.
