The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC) is an educational, research, and human rights nonprofit organization devoted to commemorating the more than 100 million victims of communism around the world. 522 Productions created this video in partnership with the organization and Nuriman Abdureshid to help advocate for her family. She currently reports at Radio Free Asia’s Uyghur service, where she has made it her life’s mission to raise awareness.
